Do not get confused with basketball predictions
Bet365 and other bookmakers list the visitors in the NBA first. In LiveTipster.com we always list the home team first on our basketball predictions.
You can also check our football predictions today.
What basketball predictions do we provide?
We are confident to say that this is one of the most successful basketball prediction sites regarding the Euroleague (mainly), the EuroCup, the Basketball Champions League (by FIBA) and all major competitions in Europe (Spain ACB, Greece Basket League, Italy Serie A). But when the NBA is on, then we focus on NBA predictions.
We use a staking system that you are free to follow but it is for our own use. We normally increase the stake when we lose and decrease it when we lose.
What are the markets of our basketball predictions?
The advantage of offering basketball predictions on big games and popular leagues or tournaments is massive. There are more markets available and the information is greater and easier to reach.
However, just like in football predictions, it is better to work out which markets suit your style of play, which are you better at and try to concentrate on them.
This is what we do. We have a list of maximum 56 favourite markets that we usually choose from. Only in specific cases we would bet on markets out of our list and this helps in the consistency of our gaming style. It also keeps the odds within a narrow range which is great for the staking strategy we use.

Money Line (home win or away win)

 Total Points (Over or Under)
Alternative Spread (not the main handicap difference provided by the bookmaker).
Alternative Total Points (not the main Over or Under limit provided by the bookmaker).
Match Result and Total (ie. Home team to win & Over 156.5 points)
Winning Margin 3way (will it be a close game, typically 15 points difference either way? Or will it be 6 or more and for which team?)
Double Result (Half Time / Full Time)
Thers is one more market that we always check and prefer for live betting and it is the following:
 Race to 10 points
 or Race to 20 points
These are the main markets you will see in this page. Every day we update our tips. Good luck on your picks, too. Anyway… (read below)

Euroleague Basketball Predictions
These are the last games from the Euroleague playoffs series. Which teams will join CSKA Moscow for this years’s Euroleague Final Four?
Our EuroLeague basketball tips appear under each mini game preview.
Efes – Real Madrid (22)
Efes and Real are set to engage in a deciding Game 5 of their bestoffive Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs series with the winner booking a ticket to the 2021 Final Four in Cologne, Germany. Efes returns to its Sinan Erdem Dome where it won the first two games of the series by 27 and 23 points, respectively, but it is Real coming into this game with the momentum after two doubledigit fourthquarter comebacks in the Spanish capital in Games 3 and 4. With a place at the Final Four on the line, Efes will be looking to bounce back at home while Real will aim to become the first team ever to come back from a 02 deficit and win a bestoffive series.
For the offensive juggernaut that is Efes, the key in Game 5 lies in defense. When Efes is in control of its paint it also plays better and more free on offense because Efes pushes the ball in transition and does not allow Real to set up its halfcourt defense. Efes could use more balance offensively, but it also needs to stick to its strengths and keep the focus to finish the game strong.
Real comes into this game with momentum on its side. The team showed great belief and pride in Games 3 and 4, especially in the second half in each of that game. Los Blancos had plenty of fight in them and a neverdie attitude. All that, and a good dose of its 122 matchup zone, is what has kept Real alive in the series against Efes. To win again, and make history on Tuesday, Real will need all of that for a full 40 minutes.
Tip: 1 (8.0) points at 1.90 with bet365

Milano – Bayern Munich (22)
History will be made one way or another on Tuesday when AX Armani Exchange Milan hosts FC Bayern Munich in Game 5 of their bestoffive Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs series for a ticket to the 2021 Final Four in Cologne, Germany. After Milan won the first two games in Italy, Bayern took the next two in Germany. Through four games, the teams are nearly identical in many ways, including total points scored with Milan holding a 320317 edge.
After holding Bayern to 73.5 points in the two games in Italy, Milan allowed Bayern to score 85 points in both games in Munich. Those numbers are in line with Milan’s fullseason line; it allowed 84.7 points in regularseason losses compared to 73.7 in victories. Milan is 412 this season when it has allowed at least 80 points and Bayern is 113 when it has scored that many, so that may be the magic number in Game 5.
Bayern has converted 56.1% of its twopoint shots in its two wins in this series, but made just 40.8% in its two losses. Vladimir Lucic and Jalen Reynolds, who both shot above 60% on twos in the regular season, have made 37.5% and 41.9% of their twos, respectively, in the playoffs. Getting strong play and good shooting from those two could lift Bayern to new heights.
Tip: Over 155.5 at 1.90 with bet365
(Price correct at 04/05/2021, 10:30 CET, subject to change)
Barcelona – Zenit (22)
A spot at the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four comes down to one game when FC Barcelona hosts Zenit St Peterburg in a winnertakesall clash on Tuesday. The two teams have each won one game on the road in taking their bestoffive playoff series the full distance. Zenit has outscored Barcelona by 4 points over the four games in one of the closest playoff series in history.
Barcelona has averaged 5.5 threepointers made at 36.7% shooting in the two playoff games it has lost against Zenit and has knocked down 7.0 threes per game at 48.3% in its two wins. Cory Higgins (3 for 13), Nick Calathes (4 for 13) and Alex Abrines (0 for 3) have each struggled to get going from downtown. If they can heat up and the rest of the shooters, such as Kyle Kuric and Nikola Mirotic stay hot, Barcelona will have a big advantage.
Zenit will do its best to follow the game plan from Game 4 in which it dominated the glass 4026 and silenced Barcelona’s star big man Brandon Davies. After averaging 20.7 points in the first three games, Davies was held to 1 point on 0for6 twopoint shooting and 1 rebound in 25 minutes in Game 4. Tarik Black and Alex Poythress, who combined for 23 points and 11 rebounds in 35 minutes for Zenit, will be tasked with this job.
Tip: 1 (6.5) at 1.90 with bet365

Zenit – Barcelona (12)
Zenit upset Barca in Spain in Game 1 by a narrow 7476 and had a late shot attempt to win Game 2, as well. When that shot missed, however, the game went to overtime and Barcelona got its first win of the series, 8178. In Russia for Game 3, Barca kept it going with a 7078 decision. Zenit got as close as a point from the lead in the last quarter, but Brandon Davies stepped up once again to put the guests in a safe place.
Doordie drama comes to this bestoffive series as Zenit St Petersburg needs to win to survive when it hosts Game 4 against FC Barcelona on Friday. After having dropped the home opener to Zenit, the visitors managed to turn the series around to lead 12 with consecutive victories, the last on Wednesday in St Petersburg to flip homecourt advantage for the second time in the series. But Barca might not need that extra home game as a victory on Friday would its Final Four ticket. If Zenit succeeds in getting the first home playoff win in club history, however, the series will move back to Barcelona for a decisive Game 5 next Tuesday.
Zenit is between a rock and a hard place. A loss would make the Russian team step down. The series has been as close as they come, and playing at home with fans Zenit will do it all to stretch its dream at least for one more game. These are the EuroLeague’s two best defenses going against each other, but in part due to injuries, Zenit has struggled a bit under the boards, so keeping players like Brandon Davies and Pau Gasol in check there could give the hosts the extra oomph needed to even the series. At this point, both teams know each other well, so Zenit will put all its heart on the court to take the series to a fifth and final game.
After struggling in the series opener, Barcelona has regrouped and managed to win two games in a row, even if neither was the least bit easy. The Catalan team leads all playoff teams in accuracy from beyond the arc, at 52.5%, and that is now proving to be crucial in pulling out these narrow wins. Barcelona’s main focus will be stopping Kevin Pangos and Baron while also concentrating on making the best defense in the league keep working at full throttle. One more win and Barca will reach its first Final Four since 2014.
Tip: Zenit – Barcelona Under 149.5 at 1.90 with bet365
(Price correct at 30/04/2021, 08:50 CET, subject to change)
Bayern – Milano (12)
FC Bayern Munich hopes to protect its home court once more this season when it hosts AX Armani Exchange Milan in Game 4 of their bestoffive playoff series on Friday. Bayern made history with an 8579 win in Game 3, the firstever EuroLeague Playoffs victory for any German club, cutting Milan’s series lead to 21. On Friday, again at the Audi Dome, Bayern will continue its quest to become the first team to win a EuroLeague Playoff series after trailing 02. Milan will look to bounce back as it aims to return to the Final four for the first time in 29 years.
Bayern dominated on the glass in Game 3, outrebounding the visitors 3729, and did a great job moving the ball with 18 assists. Bayern needs to keep playing to its strengths. No team averages more twopoint attempts this season than Bayern (41.6 per game), and that’s what the team did on Wednesday when it attempted 40 twopoint shots and only 13 triples. It is a recipe that has worked for Bayern this entire season, so expect the hosts to apply it again on Friday.
Milan is the EuroLeague’s best team this season at taking care of basketball, averaging a leaguelow 10.8 turnovers per game. Milan was even better with 9.0 per game in the first two games of the series and had just 11 turnovers in Game 3. However, Milan dished just 11 assists on Wednesday and averages 11.3 for the series. In a hardfought series, Milan has struggled with its shooting (49.6% 2FG and 31.0% 3FG), and until the shots start falling more consistently, Milan must stay low on turnovers to have a chance to win.

Real Madrid – Efes Anadolu (12)
Efes dominated in Games 1 and 2 last week as the first team to win the first two games of a bestoffive series by a combined margin of 50 points. In Game 3 on Tuesday, Efes was in control once again, holding a 6174 lead entering the final 5 minutes of the game. But Real did not allow another field goal the rest of the way while Sergio Llull, Trey Thompkins, Alberto Abalde and Rudy Fernandez combined to knocked down 5 triples, mounting a comeback for the ages and allowing Los Blancos to live to fight again on Thursday.
Real Madrid will look to carry over the momentum from its late Game 3 rally as it faces elimination once again when it hosts Anadolu Efes Istanbul for Game 4 of their bestoffive playoff series on Thursday. Efes leads the series 21 but will need to find a way for a quick bounceback after squandering a chance to clinch the series on Tuesday. Efes held a doubledigit advantage with under 5 minutes to go in Game 3 on Tuesday, but Real put together the biggest lategame comeback for a regulationtime win in EuroLeague Playoff history, scoring the final 16 points of the game to win 8076 and stave off elimination.
Real needs to continue what it did in the second half of Game 3. Apart from never stopping to fight, Real took control of the glass, finally outrebounding Efes 3930, but also took care of the ball, committing just 3 turnovers over the last two quarters. It helped Real get a better grip on the rhythm of the game before eventually taking control and rallying to win. Head coach Pablo Laso will want to see the same things from his players in this game, too.
It is never easy to bounce back within 48 hours from a loss like the one Efes suffered on Tuesday, but that’s what the team must do if it wants to finish this playoff series early. Efes will need to match Real’s energy from the tipoff and be more determined to find better solutions against a matchup zone that Real successfully used for much of Game 3. In that game, Micic and Rodrigue Beaubois combined for 47 of the team’s 76 points, suggesting Efes will need more of a balance on offense.
Tip: 1 (+6.5) at 1.90 with bet365
