Crvena Zvezda – Unics Kazan

  • The record between these two clubs is 1-1 from the season 2016-17.

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade will look to assert its home-court advantage when UNICS Kazan, led by former Zvezda playmaker Lorenzo Brown, comes to the Serbian capital for a Friday night clash. Zvezda (4-7) lost twice on the road in the two-round week, but is 3-1 at home this season. UNICS (6-5) has struggled thus far on the road with just one win in five games. However, Coach Perasovic’s men have won three straight games, including an 85-71 victory over ALBA Berlin on Friday, in which Lorenzo Brown erupted for 21 points and 9 assists to earn MVP of the Round honors. The playmaker made his EuroLeague debut with Zvezda in 2019-20 and this will be his first time back in front of fans since he left.

Monaco – Villeurbanne

  • This is the first-ever official meeting between the two clubs.

The two giants of French basketball meet on Friday when AS Monaco hosts LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne. These clubs have won every French championship since 2017. Both teams are coming off tough weeks and looking to put an end to their respective slides. Monaco (5-6) has lost its last two games, both times by double-digit margins. However, those games were on the road – in Tel Aviv and Istanbul. Monaco is 4-1 at home this season. ASVEL (6-5) has lost three in a row, including two home games last week by double-digit margins. ASVEL is 2-2 on the road so far this season. This will be the teams’ first meeting on the continental stage since the 1975 Korac Cup.

Milano – Olympiacos

  • Olympiacos leads 14-7 in games between these sides this century.

AX Armani Exchange Milan will put its perfect home record on the line on Friday against Olympiacos Piraeus, which is winless on the road thus far. Milan (8-3) comes off a tough two-round week in which it lost twice in Russia to fall out of a share of first place. However, it will be comfortable back at Mediolanum Forum, where the team is 6-0 this season – including wins over all three of last season’s other Final Four teams. Olympiacos (7-4) split its games last week, faltering late at Anadolu Efes Istanbul before jumping on Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv early to win at home. The Reds are 0-4 on the road so far this season. These teams have split their last eight meetings and the home team has won the last four.
