Zenit – Fenerbahce
Zenit St Petersburg will look to keep its hot streak going when it hosts Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul. Zenit (6-2) has won three in a row and is tied with FC Barcelona (8-2) for the fewest losses in the league. Fenerbahce (4-7), which has been plagued by injuries, has slumped to four straight losses and is 2-4 on the road this season. However, Zenit has struggled so far at home, where it has lost two of its three games.
Zenit is averaging 74.4 points per game and whenever it has controlled the pace to its liking, it has won. Zenit is 5-0 when it has scored in the 70s. It lost its lone shootout (83-88 against Khimki Moscow Region). Raising its three-point shooting – Zenit is third-worst in the league at 34.8% from downtown – would also boost the home team.
Fenerbahce is ranked second-bottom in both offensive rebounds (7.6 orpg.) and blocked shots (1.5 bpg.). The starting frontline of Jan Vesely and Danilo Barthell will have their work cut out for them against Zenit’s bigs, but if they can take control of the paint, get some second-chance scores and deny the hosts points near the basket, it would change the game and put Fenerbahce in a favorable position.
De Colo has been sidelined with a calf muscle injury.
Tip: 1/1 at HT/FT at 1.80 with bet365

CSKA – Olympiacos
One of the EuroLeague’s great rivalries will continue when CSKA Moscow hosts Olympiacos Piraeus on Thursday evening. CSKA (8-3) is red-hot with six consecutive wins to tie league leader FC Barcelona (8-2) for the most victories in the league. Olympiacos (5-4) returned to action last week after missing two games due to COVID-19-related matters and suffered a loss at TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. However, with an additional week to return to shape, the Reds should be a top-notch opponent.
Despite the presence of a pair of All-EuroLeague big men in its starting lineup, CSKA has not dominated the paint. It is shooting a mere 51.1% on two-pointers, has only 3 rebounds more than its opponents all season and has had more of its shots blocks (2.4 bpg.) that it has rejected (2.2). All players are better when active on offense and with CSKA’s league-low 13.8 assists per game, that could be one way to fix the problem. Better ball movement and bigger roles for Nikola Milutinov and Toko Shengelia could change a lot.
Not only is Mike James red-hot, but in CSKA’s wins this season he has averaged 20.9 points on 44% three-point shooting. Stopping CSKA’s top-gun will be a priority with Kostas Sloukas, Charles Jenkins and perhaps even Shaquille McKissic tasked with that job. Raising the team’s three-point accuracy, which at 33.8% is second-lowest in the league, could also be a boon for the visitors.
Tip: Winning margin 3-way: Any other result (1-5p difference) at 3.30 with bet365

Maccabi – Crvena Zvezda
In a clash between teams on a slide, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv hosts Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade on Thursday. Maccabi (3-8) has dropped three straight games with the last two coming by a total of 3 points. Zvezda (4-7) has lost two in a row by double figures. After losing just once at home in the entire 2019-20 campaign the Israeli champs are 2-3 on their home floor this season. Zvezda is 2-4 on the road.
Maccabi’s recent woes have been as much mental as anything else. A late turnover cost the team dearly in Valencia two weeks ago and allowing a four-point play to AX Armani Exchange Milan in the final minute at home last week allowed the visitors to force overtime. Total focus for 40 minutes must be the goal every week and it is now more important than ever. With the recent return of key players from injury and the roster close to full, Maccabi has the weapons it needs to succeed.
Zvezda big man Johnny O’Bryant returns to face the team he made his EuroLeague debut with and he is joined on the frontline by Emanual Terry, who got to know Maccabi last season when he played for Hapoel Jerusalem. Their contributions will be important against a Maccabi team that leads the league in rebounding (36.7 rpg.) with a big front line. A strong evening on the glass could be just what Zvezda needs in Tel Aviv.
Langston Hall missed Zvezda’s Round 11 game.
Tip: 1 (-7.5) at 1.90 with bet365
(Price correct at 03/12/2020, 08:30 CET, subject to change)
Milano – Panathinaikos
In a clash between two teams coming off makeup games on Tuesday night, AX Armani Exchange Milan hosts Panathinaikos OPAP Athens on Thursday. Milan (6-3) has won three consecutive games and it displayed fantastic defense in a 75-55 victory over ALBA Berlin earlier this week. Milan is 4-1 at home this season. Panathinaikos (3-7) has lost four straight road games and allowed at least 93 points in all of them.
Milan is second in the league in scoring this season with 82.2 points per game and comes off its best defensive outing of the season, showing that the team can game plan against its opponents’ weaknesses from game to game. In this case, Panathinaikos’s struggles have been on defense and a fast-paced, high-scoring game could be to the hosts’ advantage and the visitors’ detriment. Controlling the gloss and handing the ball to Malcolm Delaney and Rodriguez and letting them run could be the recipe for another victory.
Panathinaikos has allowed an average of 91.6 points on the road so far this season and it cannot expect to win many games outside of Greece with such numbers. Much of that damage has been done from the perimeter with opponents averaging 40.3% shooting on three-pointers. Alongside Howard Sant-Roos, the Greens will need Nedovic, Shelvin Mack and Georgios Kalaitzakis to chip in with strong defensive games to change things for Panathinaikos.
Tip: Panathinaikos Over 79.5 at 2.50 with bet365
(Price correct at 03/12/2020, 08:30 CET, subject to change)
Valencia – ALBA Berlin
Valencia Basket will look for its fourth straight win when it hosts ALBA Berlin, which comes off its worst offensive showing in ages. Valencia (7-3) has climbed up the standings with its recent winning run and boasts a 4-1 record at home with the lone loss coming at the hands of first-place FC Barcelona. ALBA (3-7) will play its second game in 48 hours after falling 75-55 on Tuesday at AX Armani Exchange Milan in its lowest-scoring game since 2003. ALBA is 1-3 on the road this season.
Valencia leads the league in both scoring (82.5 ppg.) and assists (20.9 apg.). Its great ball movement has led to great looks and a league-best 58.5% on two-point shooting. ALBA has allowed the third-most points (83.2 ppg.) and its opponents have made a league-high 57.6% of their two-pointers. The key for Valencia is to attack and push the ball inside to Dubljevic, Nikola Kalinic and Derrick Williams and to have the perimeter scorers, such as Klemen Prepelic, Sam Van Rossom and Guillem Vives attack too.
Vanja Marinkovic has missed Valencia’s last five games due to a shoulder injury. Joan Sastre is sidelined with a partial tear to the internal lateral ligament of his right knee.
ALBA is missing two of its premier perimeter scorers with both Marcus Eriksson and Simone Fontecchio sidelined. Their absences open the doors for Niels Giffey, Louis Olinde and Jonas Mattisseck to have bigger roles. That trio must produce at both ends and help stretch the floor with their three-point shooting to boost ALBA’s chances to return home with a win.
ALBA will be also without forward Lorenz Brenneke for the next few weeks due to ankle injury.

Euroleague Tips with Previews – Thursday matches
Euroleague Basketball Predictions
The Euroleague continues with round 21 containing a clasico in Spain and a massive derby in Belgrade. None of the rest of the games though will be an easy task for the favourites. So, let’s dive straight into our Euroleague picks for today’s games.
Yes, these are the best Euro League basketball tips you can possible find and appear under each mini game preview.
Real Madrid – Barcelona
El Clasico’s latest round is a must-see battle between two of the co-leaders of Euroleague. Barcelona (13-7) has won three straight road games, as well as achieved a thrilling triumph at Palau Blaugrana in Round 2 when Sergio Llull missed an attempted game-winner at the buzzer. Real (13-7) will be looking to rebound from a bad showing at Olympiacos last week, and will need on another dominant performance from Walter Tavares to control the paint in what will undoubtedly be a rough contest.
Over 160.5 at 1.90
Alba Berlin – Valencia
Valencia (10-10) will aim to make it four wins in a row when it travels to ALBA Berlin (6-14) for a rematch of the EuroCup Finals from 2010 and 2019. Valencia has been plagued by injury issues recently, but important creator Chris Jones is now available, and new signing Shannon Evans, who leads the Spanish League in scoring this season, might make his debut. ALBA will look to former Valencia forward Luka Sikma for inspiration as it looks to rebound from successive losses and rekindle its fading playoff aspirations.
2 (+3.5) at 1.90
Asvel Villerbaunne – Fenerbahce
Fenerbahce (13-7) hopes to keep its share of top place with a win over ASVEL (7-13), which is searching for its first home win in four games. The Turkish titan’s three-game winning streak has been fueled by big man Johnathan Motley, who has averaged 17.7 points and 11.3 rebounds in that span. The struggle for inside supremacy between Motley and ASVEL’s Youssoupha Fall, who has scored in double figures in four straight games, will be crucial.
2 (-3.5) at 1.90
Monaco – Milano
Monaco (12-8) will look to add to the misery for Milan (6-14), which has plummeted to the bottom of the rankings with four successive losses. The home team has won the last seven games involving Monaco, including a Round 15 loss to Milan in Italy. Ettore Messina’s men overcame a 17-point deficit in that game by launching a 19-0 run in the last session, so Monaco coach Sasa Obradovic won’t need to encourage his players to compete for the full 40 minutes this time.
Over 154.5 at 1.90
Panathinaikos – Zalgiris
Zalgiris (12-8) visits struggling Panathinaikos (7-13) in pursuit of its fifth straight victory. Last week’s comeback triumph over Zvezda was secured by Edgaras Ulanovas, who can always be counted on to perform as Zalgiris’ emotional leader. But, maybe more than any other club, the Lithuanians rely on teamwork rather than individual brilliance, especially with a defence that has allowed just 76.2 points per game, the league’s second-lowest mark.
Winning margin 3-way: Any Other Result (1-5 points) at 2.60

Euroleague Tips with Previews – Friday matches
Euroleague Basketball Predictions
The Euroleague action for 2023 continues non-stop. We are already in round 19, therefore in the second half of the regular season. So, let’s dive straight into our Euroleague picks for today’s games.
Yes, these are the best Euro League basketball tips you can possible find and appear under each mini game preview.
Anadolu Efes – Bayern
Shane Larkin’s return to fitness has given defending champion Efes (10-9) an extra dimension as it looks to cement its spot in the top eight by defeating visiting Bayern (7-12) after an outstanding win in Barcelona last week. The German squad has lost five straight away games, but overcame Efes 81-78 in November in Munich. On that occasion, offensive rebounding was crucial, with Bayern grabbing 18, so Efes will be determined to play with more physicality this time around.
Over 156.5 at 1.90
Zalgiris – Crvena Zvezda
At the Final Four venue, Zalgirio Arena, a duel between two of this season’s most interesting dark horses will take place, with Zalgiris (11-8) trying to make it four wins in a row and Zvezda (10-9) looking to build on last week’s devastating win over Monaco. Zvezda now leads the series after a four-point home win against Zalgiris a month ago, thanks to Luca Vildoza’s career-high 27 points. Now, Zvezda must overcome a Zalgiris defence that allowed only 61 points in last week’s victory in Milan.
1 (-2.5) at 1.90
Olympiacos – Real Madrid
After taking full ownership of first place with a pair of road wins last week, Real (13-6) will look to maintain that position as it travels to Piraeus to face second-place Olympiacos (12-7) in a playoff-style matchup. These are also the competition’s top two scoring clubs, with Olympiacos (85.2 points per game) edging Real (84.4), and everything leads to another spectacular battle between two European titans. Olympiacos already won 87-89 in Madrid in October on the strength of a spectacular game-winning shot by Kostas Sloukas.
Real Madrid Under 79.5 at 1.83
Milano – Asvel Villeurbanne
Two bottom-of-the-standings teams whose playoff ambitions require a huge boost meet in Milan (6-13) as Milan welcomes ASVEL (6-13). The hosts are on a three-game losing streak, while ASVEL has lost five in a row due to injury issues. Because these are the league’s two lowest-scoring clubs (Milan 69.6 points per game; ASVEL 74.4), the winner should be determined by which team can find more offensive fluency.

Fenerbahce – Monaco
Two of the four clubs tied for second meet to kick off the week in style, with Fenerbahce (12-7) welcoming Monaco (12-7). The Turkish squad, which has won two games in a row, will be hoping that big man Johnathan Motley can keep up his excellent form after winning the Round 19 MVP award. Monaco is coming off its worst performance of the season, a 24-point loss to Zvezda, and must re-ignite an attack that has scored only 60 and 68 points in the last two games.
Over 161.5 at 1.90
Maccabi – Alba Berlin
Maccabi (10-9), with the competition’s joint-best home record (8-1), will aim to extend that – and also stay in the playoffs – with a visit from ALBA (6-13), which saw its three-game winning streak ended last week with a tough loss to Real Madrid. Both teams will attempt to dominate the boards: Maccabi leads the league in offensive rebounding with 12.5 per game, while ALBA, which has won only one of its previous eight games in Tel Aviv, is third with 11.7.
Maccabi Over 88.5 at 2.10
Baskonia – Barcelona
In a Spanish derby with everything on the line, Baskonia (11-8) will try to halt a two-game losing streak against Barcelona (12-7), who has a point to prove after last week’s home setback to Efes. Baskonia, which has won six straight at home, will be hoping to have long-range shooting specialist Markus Howard return from injury, while Barcelona will be hoping to see point guard Tomas Satoransky return to give more order to an offence that has been uneven in recent weeks.
2 at 1.75
Virtus Bologna – Panathinaikos
After snapping a six-game losing streak with a spirited win against Maccabi last week, Panathinaikos (7-12) looks to continue its upward trajectory with a trip to Virtus (8-11). Virtus, who lost both games at home during the double-round week, will look to improve its defence after conceding 87 and 85 points respectively. Panathinaikos will be hoping that Paris Lee continues to shine in the backcourt after scoring 21 points in their last game.
2 (+5.5) at 1.90
Valencia – Partizan
Valencia (9-10) hosts Partizan (9-10) in a clash of direct rivals just outside the playoffs. Valencia has overcome many injury absences to win three of its last four home games, but its patched-up team will need to produce a good defensive performance to contain one of the league’s most dangerous attackers. Partizan is seventh in two-point shooting accuracy (56.2%) and fourth in three-point shooting accuracy (37.8%), and has scored at least 83 points in each of the last four games.
