Real Madrid – Chelsea prediction

Real Madrid have reached the semi-finals despite not being at top form for most of the season. However, experience is a massive factor in the knockout matches and Zidane’s team used it to overcome Liverpool. They dominated the first leg in Madrid, 3-1, using an attacking style and survived the return game with a defensive approach and a 0-0 draw. At home we should expect them trying to push high from the beginning.

Chelsea has a great defensive run under Tuchel but still need to prove their attacking consistency in a big game like this is. They beat Man City recently so they cannot be underestimated by Madrid, but at the same time defense is not the only way to win a big trophy. We will have to see if there is a plan B for Tuchel if Real scores first.
