WBA v Manchester Utd preview and tips

After victories against Everton and Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion continued their positive streak with a 1-1 draw vs leaders Leicester at the King Power Stadium. The Baggies have been having their ups and downs through the season, but it seems that Pulis found the right formula. They are undefeated in their last 7 games at home. Despite the fact that WBA has lost most Premier League matches to Man United (14), they only lost just 2 of the last 6 Premier League matches (2-2-2). WBA are currently 13th placed, with comfortable 12 points above the relegation zone.

Manchester United are considered in form. After trashing Midtyaland 5-1 in the Europa League (6-3 agg), the Red Devils took down Arsenal in the Premier League (3-2 at home). Youngster Rashford was brilliant in these two games, scoring 4 goals (2 each) and assisting Schneiderlin for the winning goal against the Gunners.

Van Gaal’s men continued by winning Watford 1-0 at Old Trafford. Mata’s goal on the 83rd minute sealed the deal. The Spaniard secured his team 3 points and staying in the race for the Champions League next season. A win today will bring them to equal points with Man City, but the Citizens will have one match in hand.

Louis van Gaal’s side have won just one of their last seven Premier League away games (1-3-3).

Smalling, Jones, Fellaini, Young, Rooney, Schweinsteiger, Shaw and Valencia remain injured.
