Maccabi (10-8) will aim to improve on its league-worst 2-7 away record as it goes to Panathinaikos after preserving a league-best 8-1 home record with a strong win over Partizan on Wednesday (6-12). The Greens are desperate for a win after losing six straight, but they showed significant signs of improvement in their overtime loss to Fenerbahce on Tuesday. The last three EuroLeague MVPs will be on display, with Barcelona’s Nikola Mirotic and Jan Vesely facing Efes backcourt leader Vasilije Micic, as well as 2019 Final Four MVP Will Clyburn and single-game scoring record holder Shane Larkin, in a truly star-studded encounter that promises to provide playoff-style intensity.
