Euroleague Basketball Predictions

The Euroleague is already heating up and this week we’re into Round 10. Injuries, transfers and changes in the rosters of the Euroleague teams continue and there is always something new to consider during our research for the current games. We’ve done it though, so, let’s dive straight into our Euroleague picks for today’s games. Here’s a rundown of what’s coming up.

Yes, these are the best Euroleague basketball tips you can possible find and appear under each mini game preview.

Efes – Partizan

When Anadolu Efes (4-5) hosts Partizan (3-5), which has suffered three consecutive road losses, two teams with much higher expectations than their current standing will battle for a crucial victory. Zeljko Obradovic, the legendary play caller from Partizan, is challenged by a man who knows him better than anyone else: Seven years were spent under Efes manager Erdem Can as his subordinate at Fenerbahce. A pivotal contest will ensue on the court between Zach LeDay of Partizan and Derek Willis of Efes, a EuroLeague novice. In his last three games, Willis has averaged 7.0 rebounds and a PIR of 15.7. LeDay has recorded double-digit scoring in seven of his previous eight contests.

Olympiacos – Zalgiris

Olympiacos (5-4) will host Zalgiris (4-5), a team vying for a re-election into the playoff picture, looking to make it three victories in a succession. Alec Peters contributed to Olympiacos’s crucial victory over Zvezda last time out with 28 points, and the Lithuanian team enters with a renewed sense of confidence after narrowly defeating Bayern to end a four-game losing streak. Olympiacos, which allows just 75.8 points per game and is one of the finest defensive units in the league, will be hoping that Moustapha Fall maintains his eighteen-point rebounding average from the previous week. In contrast, Zalgiris will counter him with Laurynas Birutis, who was in excellent form against Bayern with 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Baskonia – Monaco

As Monaco, which suffered two losses during the double-round week, will face off against red-hot Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in another meeting between two of the six teams presently tied with 5-4 records. The hosts hope to extend their four-game winning streak against AS Monaco. Chima Moneke, a former member of the Monaco forwards, has scored at least 16 points in each of his last five contests. However, the away team’s formidable interior defence restricts opponents to 51.7% of two-point attempts, which is good for third-best in the league. In order to add a new dimension to its attack, Monaco will be hoping that Kemba Walker, a high-profile summer acquisition who has accumulated just four points in his last three contests, recovers to form.

Crvena Zvezda – Milano

Two more direct competitors vying for positional advancements meet head-to-head: EA7 Emporio Armani Milan (3-6) hosts Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade (3-6). Three of the last five meetings between the teams have been won in Belgrade, and Milan, buoyed by a convincing victory over Efes in their most recent match, will attempt to extend that sequence. Round 8 Olympiacos narrowly defeated Zvezda despite the latter making 15 three-pointers, five of which were made by Nemanja Nedovic. Milan is the second-most accurate three-point shooting team in the league (39.3%), with Nicolo Melli guiding the way with 50.0% conversions on long-range shots (three of four in the victory over Efes). As a result, this contest could come down to a shootout.

3-Way Winning Margin – No win more than 6p. at 2.65
