Euroleague Basketball Predictions

Our Euroleague predictions for 2023 are coming to an end this week as we’re wrapping up Round 17. Let’s dive straight into our Euroleague picks for today’s games. Here’s a rundown of what’s coming up.

Yes, these are the best Euroleague basketball tips you can possible find and appear under each mini game preview.

ALBA Berlin – Olympiacos

Olympiacos (8-8) is going to ALBA Berlin (3-13) hoping to put together a winning run. The Reds overcame their recent setbacks to defeat ASVEL 73-85 last week, led by a nearly unprecedented eight blocks from Moustapha Fall. Shaquielle McKissic’s comeback, which saw him score 13 points for the first time this season, was another contributing reason. Matt Thomas, who made three of his five three-point attempts in last week’s loss to Fenerbahce, will hopefully put up another strong showing for ALBA. However, the defence must get better as it has allowed 85.8 points per game, which is fourth-worst in the league. It is also possible that memories of a 60-93 home loss to Olympiacos in February are still fresh in the team’s minds.

Monaco – Barcelona

As joint-fourth Monaco (9-7) welcomes joint-second Barcelona (11-5), a top-six matchup is in store. With four three-pointers from consistent perimeter threat Nico Laprovittola, the Spanish team ended a dismal run of road games with a hard-fought victory at Zalgiris last time out. Meanwhile, Monaco was relieved to win their second straight game on the road against Bayern, thanks to a season-high 28 points from the deadly Mike James. Laprovittola and Tomas Satoransky’s ability to protect James will be critical, and Monaco also needs to contend with Jan Vesely, who scored 15 points on 6 of 7 field goal attempts against Zalgiris, and Willy Hernangomez, who averages 11.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, as well as Barca’s potent inside threat.
