In a classic rivalry that goes back several decades, Zalgiris Kaunas hosts CSKA Moscow on Friday night in what is sure to be a packed Zalgirio Arena. After opening the season with nine straight losses, Zalgiris has won three of its last four games, and all of those wins have come at home. The last one was against Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz behind the playmaking duo of Lukas Lekavicius and Mantas Kalnietis who combined for 23 points and 14 assists. CSKA, on the other hand, is on a three-game winning streak, with the last one over Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, 97-77, its first win by more than 10 points this season. CSKA enters the game having won the last five games against Zalgiris, and will look to continue the winning run to re-join the group of teams at the top of the standings.
