Olympiacos – Maccabi
- Olympiacos leads Maccabi 12-11 in head-to-head games this century after sweeping last seasons’ series.
Olympiacos Piraeus will put its perfect record at Peace and Friendship Stadium against red-hot Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, which has won six of its last seven games. Olympiacos (6-4) is 6-0 at home this season, while Maccabi (7-3) is 2-2 on the road. The Reds have lost back-to-back games, including an 88-69 loss at the hands of Anadolu Efes Istanbul earlier this week in which they faltered late and scored only 3 points in the fourth quarter. Sasha Vezenkov posted 17 points and 8 rebounds in the loss. Maccabi bounced back from a Round 9 loss with a 95-84 victory over AS Monaco, in which Scottie Wilbekin scored a career-high 37 points. Maccabi has an advantage in that Coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos spent four seasons with the Reds, during which he coached current Olympiacos players Kostas Papanikolaou, Kostas Sloukas and Georgios Printezis. Tyler Dorsey and newcomer Quincy Acy of the Reds are both former Maccabi players, too.

Baskonia – CSKA Moscow
CSKA leads the series with a 32-11 record.

This will be the 44th time that these two sides meet in EuroLeague action this century and CSKA leads the series 11-32. CSKA comes off a loss at Barcelona, 81-73, and has lost four of its last five games. Both teams need a win to gain some momentum in this moment of the season, so there’s a lot to be gained for the team coming out on top on Friday.
