Euroleague Basketball Predictions
The action in the Euroleague regular season continues. There have been consistent teams and some in form while a few are struggling to keep with the pace. So, let’s dive straight into our Euroleague picks for today’s games:

Fenerbahce – Partizan
Co-leader Fenerbahce (10-4) needs to rebound against a Partizan (5-9) club after suffering two straight losses in the double-round week. Partizan restored its confidence by defeating the defending champion Efes in a nail-biter last week. Kostas Antetokounmpo, a recent acquisition, might make his Fenerbahce debut, but all eyes will be on Zeljko Obradovic as the Partizan coach makes his first trip back to the squad he guided to championship victory in 2017. Obradovic’s former aide Dimitris Itoudis will attempt to sabotage his master’s emotional homecoming by securing a crucial home victory in a game filled with intriguing subplots.

Alba Berlin – Maccabi
The squad from Maccabi (7-7) will visit ALBA (3-11), who is in last position and is desperately trying to win for the first time since Round 3. Last week, Maccabi won on the road in Milan, but three days later, they lost again on the road against Virtus. The game will mark a special event for two ALBA players: forward Yovel Zoosman, who played for Maccabi as a youth before joining ALBA last year, and three-point shooting expert Tamir Blatt (2.6 threes made per game), who will face the side that will always be associated with his father David.
Tip: Winning Margin 3-way Any Other Result (1-5 points difference) at 2.65
Olympiacos – Crvena Zvezda
Olympiacos (9-5) will feel it has something to prove against Zvezda (7-7), which too saw its winning run ended in Round 14 after blowing a 21-point lead to lose to ASVEL last week. The top offense in the league is Olympiacos, which averages 86.4 points per game, while Zvezda has the third-best defense in the league, allowing just 76.6 points per game on average. The outcome of the game will depend on whether the visiting team can slow down the nimble Olympiacos offense, which leads the league in assists per game with 22.3.

Baskonia – Virtus Bologna
High-flying Baskonia (9-5) will try to keep up its momentum against a Virtus (6-8) club that is just one win away from the playoff spots after a brilliant week of triumphs in Istanbul. Toko Shengelia will be the center of attention because he made his name as one of the top players in Europe during a standout period with Baskonia between 2014 and 2020. Shengelia hasn’t been in top form this season due to injury, but he had his finest outing to date with 12 points in last week’s victory over Maccabi.
Tip: 1 (-7.5) at 1.90
Real Madrid – Asvel Villeurbanne
In Thursday’s decisive game, ASVEL (6-8) will try to keep up its lead as the league’s hottest team by traveling to Real (9-5) in a difficult assignment. ASVEL will be quite confident after three straight wins, two of which came thanks to game-winning shots in overtime. The fight between two enormous large guys, Walter Tavares and Youssoupha Fall, will be crucial to the result. Very predictably, Real’s Tavares leads the league in blocked shots with 2.6 per game, and Fall is second in the league in rebounds with 7.4 each night.
Tip: Asvel Over 74.5 at 1.83
