Euroleague Basketball Predictions
On Tuesday and Wednesday, four make-up games from recent postponements kick off the week, building up to Round 23. In-form UNICS Kazan have a big week ahead of them, as they travel to Real Madrid on Tuesday and face CSKA Moscow three days later. Here’s a rundown of all the games played today.

Real Madrid – UNICS Kazan
- In their EuroLeague meetings, Real has a 3-2 advantage against UNICS..
In a rescheduled game from Round 19, Real Madrid (16-3) takes on UNICS Kazan (12-7) in a bid for the top spot in the rankings. Walter Tavares (12.2 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 1.9 bpg. ), Guerschon Yabusele (12.6 ppg.), and Vincent Poirier have guided Real to a five-game winning run (7.8 ppg., 6.2 rpg.). UNICS has won five of its past six games, including a 70-64 triumph over FC Barcelona at home. Isaiah Canaan (14.1 points per game) has been the team’s leading scorer thus far, followed by Lorenzo Brown (13.6 points per game) and John Brown III (10.7 ppg.). Earlier this season, UNICS upset Real 65-58 in Kazan in Round 7 with 13 points apiece from Mario Hezonja and Andrey Vorontsevich.

ASVEL Villeurbanne – Bayern

In a rescheduled match from Round 18, ASVEL Villeurbanne (9-11) hosts Bayern Munich (7-9). ASVEL, spearheaded by Chris Jones (13.8 ppg), Elie Okobo (16.0 ppg), and Marcos Knight, is coming off a home win against Crvena Zvezda and looking for more (9.0 ppg., 4.8 rpg.). Bayern Munich won over Baskonia on Friday, snapping a four-game losing skid on the road. Vladimir Lucic (12.9 points per game) leads the club in scoring, followed by Corey Walden (10.7 points per game) and Augustine Rubit (10.1 points per game) (10.5 ppg.). In European tournaments, Bayern has a 3-2 record against ASVEL, with the home club winning all five prior meetings.

Maccabi Tel Aviv – ALBA Berlin

In a rescheduled game from Round 20, Maccabi Tel Aviv (8-11) plays on ALBA Berlin (6-13). Yovel Zoosman, a former Maccabi player, and Tamir Blatt, the son of former Maccabi coach David Blatt, will play in Tel Aviv for the first time in the EuroLeague. Maccabi is coming off an eight-game losing run after defeating Olympiacos at home. Until recently, Scottie Wilbekin (15.1 ppg.) has been the team’s leading scorer, followed by Ante Zizic (12.9 ppg.) and James Nunnally (12 ppg). (12.5 ppg.). ALBA has only won one of its past six games. Until now, Luke Sikma (9.9 points per game, 7.0 rebounds per game, 4.6 assists per game), Maodo Lo (13.3 points per game), and Oscar Da Silva (10.3 points per game) have been the team’s mainstays. Since the turn of the millennium, Maccabi has a 13-2 record against ALBA. ALBA, on the other hand, defeated Maccabi 91-86 in Round 12 thanks to Marcus Eriksson’s 19 points.
