The action in Africa continues and there are 3 Copa Africa tips to consider today.
Benin – Guinea-Bissau
You can probably not call it an excellent start, but considering the opponent, drawing 2-2 against Ghana is a great result for Benin. They now seek a win that could place them between Cameroon and Ghana in a so called extremely hard qualification effort.
Guinea-Bissau lost 2-0 to Cameroon in their introduction to the African Cup of Nations and now have a winning-less form of 4 matches (0-2-2). Three of those had a combo of No Goal & Under 2.5 goals.
Will the first games of these teams be enough for my conclusion? I will find out backing Benin at almost evens.

Cameroon – Ghana
Beating Guinea-Bissau (2-0) is different than beating Ghana. A win tonight can take them to the next stage and they have the advantage of a ‘mistake’ because o the current standings of group F.
Not what they (and I) were expecting. Ghana drew surprisingly against Benin (2-2). The ‘Ayew brothers & Co’ came from behind to make it look like they would win all 3 points, but it wasn’t enough. Now they face a more difficult opponent and need to up their game.
I cannot see this one resulting in anything but a draw.

Mauritania – Angola
The weakest link, Mauritania. The worst scoreline among the tournament’s participants, 1-4 to Mali. Breaking it down to… reasons, the Mauritania defense appears to be the biggest problem. Third game in a row with BTTS (G/G) combined with Over 3.5 goals.
Holding Tunisia to a 1-1 draw is a success itself. Angola is currently in a 4 game unbeaten run and could prove a challenge to even better opponents than Mauritania. The Angolans have every right to dream of qualification if they win tonight.
Mauritania has lack of quality and appeared inferior to the demands of the tournament. Hard to turn the situation around, so I will go for the away win.
