It is clear that Everton‘s big targer is the FA Cup. After an excellent performance they beat Chelsea 2-0 to secure a spot in the semi-final. They are waiting to see who they will face, West Ham (preferably) or Man United, but the next cup game is scheduled in a month’s time. Until then, Everton needs to stay in form even the fact they cannot really make it to European qualification through the Premier League.

Everton must do without experienced midfielder Barry who was sent off against Chelsea and will begin a two-match ban. Mirallas is also suspended.

Besic has been declared fit and could replace Barry in midfield and Oviedo has a chance at returning to the squad following his illness.

Arsenal is out of the Champions League. They had a decent performance in Barcelona, but lost again, 3-1 this time.

Wenger is under pressure after losing to Watford in the quarter-final of the FA Cup (1-2) last week. So, that is left for the Gunners is the Premier League title chase.

Arsenal is 11 points behind Leicester with one game in hand. They can only start winning and never stop until the end if they want to have a chance for the title. In Goodison Park they have not won in the last three visits, but they only lost once in 18 matches against Everton in all competitions.
