Man City – Real Madrid
Man. City: Ederson; Walker, Rúben Dias, Laporte, Zinchenko; De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo Silva; Mahrez, Foden, Sterling
Out: João Cancelo (suspended)
Doubtful: Walker (ankle), Stones (muscular)
Real Madrid: Courtois; Carvajal, Éder Militão, Alaba, Mendy; Modrić, Casemiro, Kroos; Valverde, Benzema, Vinícius Júnior
Out: Hazard (ankle), Mariano (muscular), Jović (muscular)
Doubtful: Alaba (adductor), Casemiro (hamstring)
Let’s start by saying that the set of odds are irrelevant with the difficulty of the game for Man City. Just remember a similar case scenario when Real Madrid faced Chelsea in London in the previous round. The Citizens are better in holding the ball and a defensive approach is predicted here from Ancelotti’s side, who will play much more like they did in Paris in the round of 16 against PSG, when they were too timid in attack. We reckon that those two very open games against Chelsea were a parenthesis and our pick is Under 2.5 goals at very high odds.
Tip: Under 2.5 at 2.20 – bet365
