The Premier League preview of this week includes three games that made it to my selections.
Saturday Matches
Chelsea host Watford has an early kick-off at the Bridge The Blues are coming from two results that show why they should have kept Matic (OK, there are injuries too). First they lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace (their first win) and then drew with Roma 3-3 in the Champions League. They score easily, but defensively this not a ‘Conte team’. Will they fix that on Saturday? Hopefully not, because in the selection of Over 3.5 goals we might need a bit of help from the Hornets.

From the later matches, I have picked a draw to bet on. It worked last week, why wouldn’t it now? Swansea is playing Leicester in Wales and the set of odds is really balanced. Swansea is 2 points ahead of their opponents who sit in the bottom 3 of the table. It will be a game that Swansea will be afraid to lose and if they aim for the point they will earn it.
A game to avoid would be Tottenham v Bournemouth. Not so much doubting the possible win from Tottenham, but how many goals could be scored. We consider this being a tighter game than it looks and we call it a No Bet.
Sunday Match
The big game of this week is played in Wembley. Tottenham is considered favourites versus Liverpool, but this might be a very close encounter. Both teams are coming from great European results. The Spurs held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw in Spain while Liverpool thrashed Maribor in Slovenia, 0-7. There will probably be goals from both teams, but it is a low odds selection. I have risked with the away win here, expecting the Reds fresher because of the easier match they had.
