Euroleague basketball predictions The regular season in a problematic Euroleague is about to end. Check the game previews and our expert Euroleague predictions.

Our EuroLeague basketball tips appear under each mini game preview.

Anadolu Efes – Alba Berlin

Efes will rely on the rest of its backcourt to step up in the absence of standout point guard Micic. Larkin and Simon’s creativity – and points – will be especially important to the team. Micic has a history of performing well against ALBA, and someone will have to step up in his absence against a club that has held Fenerbahce to 57 points and Crvena Zvezda to 70 points in their last two games.

ALBA is playing with a lot of confidence right now, and its playoff chances have been a lot better in recent weeks. ALBA cannot afford to change its mindset now that it has a realistic chance of making the playoffs. The squad must stay committed to its style of play, which includes a lot of risk-taking, transition running, and quick ball movement in half-court setups. ALBA has shown in recent weeks that it can win with its defence, but to beat Efes, it will most likely need its offensive to be at its best.

basketball prediction Tip: 1 (-9.5) at 1.90 with bet365

Olympiacos – Barcelona

It should come as no surprise that Olympiacos’ game plan includes hammering the ball inside; the squad Greek team leads the league in two-point shooting (57.6%), headed by Fall (68.6%) and former Barcelona forward Vezenkov (67.3 percent ). Given the likely absence of Barcelona big man Davies, attacking the paint becomes an even more appealing option for the Reds. If Barca is shorthanded on the inside, the Olympiacos frontline might be the difference in the game.

Barcelona’s attack is one of the most efficient in the league, leading the league in both assists (18.7 per game) and three-point shooting (42.2 percent ). It has, however, committed the second-highest number of turnovers (13.6 per game). In Piraeus, where Olympiacos has only lost once this season and has allowed a league-low 67.5 points in home games, points may be scarce. Calathes and Laprovittola’s superb passing and large perimeter shots are the greatest ways to pierce that defence, however cutting down on mistakes may be crucial.

Bayern – Crvena Zvezda

Bayern, according to their coach Andrea Trinchieri, ran out of energy in the close of their encounter in Milan on Tuesday. Bayern must immediately regroup and regain their energy against Zvezda. Zvezda’s physicality must be matched, and the club must prepare for a defensive battle. Bayern has struggled on the glass all season, ranking bottom in the league with 30.7 per game, and this is where the squad needs to focus in this crucial encounter.

Zvezda enters the penultimate round of the regular season with the lowest three-point shooting (31.8 percent) and free throw accuracy in the league (72.3 percent ). While Zvezda’s three-point accuracy may be difficult to improve, the team has lost several close games this season due to missed free throws. Zvezda must make its free throws in one of the most important games in a playoff race.

basketball prediction Tip: 2 (+5.0) at 1.90 with bet365

Baskonia – Zalgiris

Baskonia has won its past three home games and will want to offer its supporters one final chance to cheer. Controlling the paint could be the key to winning this game, as the numbers highlight the home team’s distinct advantages on the glass and in two-point shooting. This season, Baskonia has collected the second-most rebounds in the league (35.1 rpg.) and will play a club that has been outrebounded by 2.1 boards per game on average. Furthermore, Zalgiris has the second-lowest two-point shooting percentage (50.9%) in the league, while Baskonia ranks sixth in two-point defence (52.6 percent ). Baskonia’s prospects improve if Costello, Enoch, and company dominate the paint.

Zalgiris’ offence has struggled this season, but when the scores start to flow, the club becomes much more dangerous. In its seven triumphs, Zalgiris has averaged 81.7 points per game, while in its seven losses, it has averaged 68.8 points per game. The team’s aggression is one of the biggest contrasts in those games; Zalgiris has been to the foul line an average of 18 times per game in wins and only 12.9 times in losses. This week, a more aggressive strategy to hitting the basket and getting to the line more often could be the key to a road victory.
